This week’s opening hours
Tuesday 12th August - 1-5pm
Wednesday 13th August - 12-4pm
Thursday 14th August - 6-8pm (Mural Making)
(111 Queen Street, Cardiff)
In Summer 2024, we applied for a HYPHA residency and we were successful. This means we get an empty shop to create in, in the heart of our community.
This space is collaboratively curated and shared by two projects. PWSH and a yet to be named emerging Neurodiverse Arts Collective born out of creative wellness sessions for neurodivergent adults; Neurospicy Play Dates.
At the heart of bringing these two projects together in one space is meaningful inclusion, widening access to the arts and creative wellness for marginalised people. We always wanted to expand re-imagining public spaces beyond murals, and now we’re doing that within an empty shop, on one of Cardiff’s main shopping streets.
We are unfunded, so would massively appreciate any financial and material donations to help us, and our community, thrive in our new space.

Please contact us if you feel anxious visiting our space for the first time - we can show you around before when we are closed, or we can body double with you. You can find us on Instagram.
We are an unfunded project led by volunteer artists so please make at least the minimum donation to contribute to our blossoming community.
Our events
Queer Futures: Opening Night
Friday 1st August, 5-10pm
Please join us for the opening night of the Queer Futures Exhibition, a collaboration between PWSH, Qunx and Dyddiau Du
We sent out an open call for anyone to submit pieces which portray the future they envisage would work best for them as an individual and/or society at large. We also opened it up to thinking about the word queer in its other sense (strange, bizarre, curious), allowing people to let their imaginations run wild. It's a difficult time for the queer community and we wanted to give people the space to depict the kind of reality they wish to construct and be a part of.
We look forward to unveiling the artwork and celebrating the abundant creativity within the queer community.
Queer Futures: Mural Making Evening
Thursday 14th August, 6-8pm
Join us for an evening where we’ll make a mural in the windows of PWSH Cardiff for the Queer Futures exhibition!
We want to give the community the chance to come together to create a collaborative art piece where we can explore what we want to see in our futures. Art materials will be supplied.
Queer Futures: Poetry Open Mic
Tuesday 26th August, 7-10pm
As part of the Queer Futures Exhibition we’ll be hosting a poetry open mic!
Giving people the space to respond to the theme of ‘Queer Futures’ in words, with the artwork as their backdrop. Hosted by Qunx and Dyddiau Du.
